On August 28, 2024, the People's Committee of Khanh Hoa province, in coordination with the Consulate General of India in Ho Chi Minh City, hosted the India-Khanh Hoa Tourism Promotion Conference 2024. As part of the series of events of Namaste Vietnam Festival 2024, India - Khanh Hoa Tourism Promotion Conference 2024 aims to create opportunities for businesses in the province to exchange and meet with agencies and companies from India, thereby expanding the network of connections and multi-sector business cooperation between the two regions, especially tourism development.

At the conference, the Head of the Indian Tourism Delegation, Mr. Abhineet Shukla, expressed particular interest in the potential for developing MICE (meetings, incentives, seminars, and exhibitions) and wedding tourism in Khanh Hoa. Delegates expected that the cooperation between the two sides would promote cultural exchange, expand economic relations, and bring tourists unique travel experiences.
